In addition, the weekend of 13/14 September will see the Karlsplatz in Heidelberg, Germany, transformed into a golf fun park with activities for the entire family. And on Monday 15 September, a “Golden Charity Shot” from Heidelberg’s famous “Alte Brücke” bridge will kick-off an extensive charity fundraising campaign.

Golf pros will tee off together with celebrities, including German football legend Franz Beckenbauer and SAP founder Dietmar Hopp, taking aim at a target floating green on the River Neckar. The evening will see a grand charity Gala Dinner at Heidelberg Castle.

All golf fans can take part in the celebrations by visiting the Show Match or entering the fundraising auction complementing the charity campaign that will run on www.solheimcup.de featuring “money-can’t-buy” experiences.
