(Remeteségpuszta, Hungary July 15 2005) Samantha Head from England held onto her first round lead after day two at the €165,00 OTP Bank Ladies Central European Open in Hungary.

“I couldn’t have played much better today, my putting was very good,” said Kreutz, who also played with Nilsmark at Gleneagles four years ago.
“It was nice for both myself and Gwladys to be playing with Catrin and we were both, not nervous, but excited.
Nilsmark, who was playing in Europe for the first time this season, was very impressed with both of Kreutz and Nocera’s performances.
“I was very impressed with Ludivine,” said Nilsmark, adding, “I believe after 16 holes she was seven under, and it really was one of the easiest seven unders I’ve ever seen.
“Gwladys was a good ball striker and she hits her wedges incredible, and her irons. If Gwladys and Ludivine played their way in to The Solheim Cup team I’d be very happy.”
At the end of round two Tullia Calzavara from Italy and Nina Reis from Sweden were tied in fourth position at seven under par (135).
Four players were tied at six-under including the defending champion, Minea Blomqvist from Finland, who shot 64 to share the best round of the day with Kreutz.
The 15-year-old English amateur Henrietta Brockway finished at one over par to make her first professional cut on the Ladies European Tour.
She becomes one of the youngest ever players to do so, after narrowly missing out at the 2003 Ladies Open of Portugal.
She said: “I would turn pro tomorrow if I could and I’ll try to qualify for the LET when I turn 18.”
The cut fell at two over par, and the stage is set for a scintillating final round tomorrow.
