RUIXIN LIU JOINS LET AFTER ARAMCO CHINA CHAMPIONSHIP VICTORY

Ruixin Liu

Ruixin Liu accepted Ladies European Tour (LET) membership after securing a maiden LET title in her homeland.

The Chinese star fired rounds of 70-65-68 around the World Cup Course at Mission Hills to win the Aramco China Championship with a total of 16-under-par.

Her three-stroke victory was even more special for Liu who grew up in Shenzhen and lives on site at Mission Hills.

Additionally, it was the first time Liu has played in a professional event in Shenzhen since turning professional in 2017.

The win was also an early birthday present for the newest LET winner as she turned 27 just a few days after clinching the Aramco China Championship title.

“This is my home place I live here, it’s very special for me to win my first PIF Global Series in Shenzhen. I’m really happy,” she said after her victory.

“It’s so sweet, to have friends come over and watch me and to have my dad on the bag as well. The crowd is amazing so thank you.”

Thanks to her victory and taking up immediate LET membership, Liu is awarded the 500 LET Order of Merit points in the official rankings for the 2025 season.

She now sits 44th in the LET Order of Merit and 13th in the Rookie of the Year rankings with just one event of the season remaining.
