3 Reasons to follow the RACV Ladies Masters this week

This week the most exciting season in LET history is about to begin with the RACV Ladies Masters at RACV Royal Pines Resort in Queensland, Australia! The field of 144 players is well prepared and ready to start the season in style on the beautiful Gold Coast. As Cheyenne Woods bids to defend her 2014 victory, here are 3 reasons why you should be getting excited about the start of the season in Australia:

 

1 – 9 LET rookies in the field starting their professional careers

 The following players will be playing in their first tournament as a member of the Ladies European Tour in 2015:

  1. Lina Boqvist (Sweden)
  2. Daisy Nielsen (Denmark)
  3. Isabella Ramsay (Sweden)
  4. Tonje Daffinrud (Norway)
  5. Nanna Madsen (Denmark)
  6. Anne Van Dam (Netherlands)
  7. Ssu-Chia Cheng (Chinese Taipei)
  8. Marta Sanz (Spain)
  9. Annabel Dimmock (England)

 

2 – European Solheim Cup points are doubled!

This week is the first tournament where European members of the LET will receive double the number of Solheim Cup points than in 2014. Eligible members receive points for top 10 finishes in all LET sanctioned tournaments and for top 20 finishes in the major championships: ANA Inspiration, KPMG Women’s PGA Championship, US Women’s Open presented by the USGA, Ricoh Women’s British Open and Evian Championship.
