Germany’s Sophia Popov ended a stroke clear of compatriot Olivia Cowan after the 72-hole Lalla Aicha Tour School Pre-Qualifying A for 2015 in Rabat, Morocco.
Popov fired rounds of 71, 70, 72 and 71 on the Blue Course at Royal Golf Dar Es Salam to end on a four-under-par total of four-under-par.
The cut mark, to the leading 29 players and ties, fell at 23-over-par and 30 players will go forward to the Final Qualifier for 2015, on 17-21 December, in Marrakech, Morocco.
The next Pre-Qualifier, 2015 Tour School Asia Pre-Qualifying C, takes place at Mission Hills Haikou in China on 5-8 November, before 2015 Lalla Aicha Tour School Pre-Qualifying B in Morocco on 8-11 December.
