An abundance of health and performance services were available to Ladies European Tour (LET) players at this week’s La Sella Open in Spain.
Through the LET Performance Institute (LETPI), players were able to book a wide range of services at La Sella Golf Resort.
Physiotherapy, sports massage, and medical services were available throughout the week, but the players also had access to other key services such as nutrition and Strength & Conditioning.
Bra fittings were available early in the week, and the research surrounding how your bra impacts your ball flight continued with the data analysed using a launch monitor and 3D tools including trackman.
Skin Screening was available pre-tournament with players able to book appointments and have any queries answered; additionally, a mental health clinical service was also on site.
Finally, for the third time this season, there was a Pilates instructor on site offering one-to-one sessions for players, and there were group sessions held on Tuesday and Wednesday evening for players and staff.
Scotland’s Laura Beveridge participated in the class held on Tuesday and afterwards, she said: “It’s really important, especially on the road, we put our bodies through a lot and we don’t often get opportunities to work out and exercise as much as we’d like.
“The fact the Tour is putting on these opportunities for us and it was a very fun, easy-going Pilates class. It was a little bit tough in places, but we really enjoyed it and it’s also a nice bit of camaraderie between the players as it’s something we can all do collectively. Hopefully, we have more going forward.”
