Players all set for Finnair Masters

Lagoutte-Clement – defending champion

The 17-year-old has already played in two LET events this year and has recently been selected to play in The Junior Solheim Cup – the under-18s equivalent of the professional women’s match play competition, involving teams from Europe and the United States.

Amateur Dottie Ardina, from the Philippines, is the youngest competitor in the field at 13-years-old and is named after American Dottie Pepper, a 17-time winner on the Ladies Professional Golf Association tour.

The Finnair Masters is the most prestigious golf event ever held in Finland and carries a total prize fund of €200,000.

The tournament is also a part of the Volvo Cross Country Challenge, which consists of four Nordic tournaments held in Sweden, Norway, Finland and Denmark.

The winner of the Challenge wins a Volvo Car and a large share of the total extra purse of $150,000, which will be divided among the top ten players.
