PLAYER OF THE MONTH NOMINEES FOR SEPTEMBER 2025 ANNOUNCED

The Ladies European Tour (LET) has now wrapped up its tournaments for September meaning it’s time to cast your vote for Player of the Month.

A busy four weeks saw the Tour visit Texas for the Aramco Houston Championship – featuring both the Individual and Team competitions – before returning to Europe for the VP Bank Swiss Ladies Open, La Sella Open and Lacoste Ladies Open de France.

LET commentators Richard Kaufman and Sophie Walker decided upon the nominees for the 2025 September Player of the Month award…

Nastasia Nadaud (France)
Top-10s: 3

After closing out August with a T5 finish at the Hills Open, Nastasia Nadaud continued her excellent form in September registering top-10s in all three events played. Aided by fellow LET player Michele Thomson on the bag, the Frenchwoman picked up another T5 in Houston before securing second place at the La Sella Open. This was capped off by a strong showing on home soil as Nadaud moved inside the top-10 of the Order of Merit.

Expert opinion: “A September of consistent, high quality golf from Nastasia Nadaud, who is getting ever closer to a first LET win. Of her 10 rounds played in a month, only once did she shoot more than 70. The French player is in her third year on Tour and is improving season by season. Nadaud may not have won in September, but after finishing fifth in Houston she picked up her second runner-up finish of the season at the La Sella Open. The 20-year-old then stood up to the spotlight of being one of the home stars at the Lacoste Ladies Open de France with another top-10 finish to move up to eighth in the rankings. A win is just around the corner for Nadaud.”

Alice Hewson (England)
Wins: 1

High on confidence after winning August Player of the Month, Alice Hewson experienced déjà vu when she returned to Switzerland for her title defence winning by five shots to keep her crown. The Englishwoman carded three rounds in the 60s to secure a convincing victory and move to three career victories on the LET. Jumping to 10th in the Order of Merit, Hewson followed this up with a T31 finish at the La Sella Open.

Expert opinion: “Last month’s Player of the Month was at it again in September. Alice Hewson defended her title at the VP Bank Swiss Ladies Open with a fantastic demonstration of front-running. Three rounds in the 60s and a near walk out hole-out on the last helped her defend her title in style. It caps off a stunning summer for the English star who has surged her way back inside the top-10 of the LET Order of Merit.”

Anna Huang (Canada)
Wins: 2

Anna Huang

September was a historic month for Anna Huang as the 16-year-old clinched her first LET title winning by a dominant seven shots in Spain. But Huang wasn’t done there, the Canadian becoming the third back-to-back winner of the season when she claimed the Lacoste Ladies Open de France just six days later. Only current World No 1 Jeeno Thitikul reached two LET victories at a younger age than Huang. The future could not be brighter for the teenage sensation.

Expert opinion: “It’s not too often players on Tour have to worry about their homework while trying to win on the LET, but Anna Huang can be forgiven for not getting top marks with her school studies when it’s been an A* September on the course for the Canadian. The 16-year-old turned up at the La Sella off the back of a solid rookie campaign. Solid has now turned to spectacular, a wire-to-wire victory on the east coast of Spain making Huang the sixth youngest winner on the LET. So how would she react to that just days later in France? Amazingly was the answer. A closing 65 (-6) helped the rookie see off some talented chasers to take home the Lacoste Ladies Open de France. Golf has found itself another young star.”

Nuria Iturrioz (Spain)
Wins: 1

Nuria Iturrioz

The ever-entertaining Nuria Iturrioz picked up her fifth LET title in September seeing off a stacked leaderboard to hoist the Aramco Houston Championship. The Spaniard carded three rounds in the 60s to finish two shots ahead of compatriot Ciganda Ciganda and England’s Charley Hull. One week later in Switzerland, the 29-year-old showed little signs of winning fatigue as she produced more excellent golf to end the week T8. Iturrioz then backed this up with another top-10 on home soil to make it a more than memorable month.

Expert opinion: “Nuria Iturrioz lit it up in Houston, three birdies in her final five holes holding off Solheim Cup legend Carlota Ciganda in dramatic style to earn a fifth LET title. With that win, Iturrioz became the second most decorated Spanish player on the LET behind Ciganda. And she wasn’t done yet, back-to-back top-10s in Switzerland and at the La Sella Open has capitulated Iturrioz up the Order of Merit into 13th position. The Iturrioz birdie celebration has been out in full force this September.”
