The first round of the ISPS HANDA Women’s Scottish Open has been suspended due to unplayable conditions on the course.
There was a delay before the start of play due to course conditions but play got underway at 8.10 am (local time) with only a one-hour delay to the original tee times.
However, at 11.24 am (local time) play was suspended at Dundonald Links following a spell of heavy rainfall on the first day of competition.
After a two-hour delay, play resumed at 1.30 pm (local time) with afternoon tee times adjusted accordingly in Scotland.
