Following a hugely successful tournament, one which saw Team Europe retain the Solheim Cup in September, PING has announced its continued support of the event as the Official Apparel Supplier in 2024 and 2026 for the retaining cup holders.
The performance driven apparel – that was specially designed and crafted with the support of European captain Suzann Pettersen – featured premium technologies befitting the high-quality competition on show at the tournament in Finca Cortesin.
“The event this year was fantastic and it was great to see the European Team wearing their uniforms proudly in front of a passionate home crowd,” commented Lisa Lovatt, Managing Director of PING Europe. “We are delighted with the positive feedback from the team and supporters, and we look forward to continuing the journey as the Official Apparel Supplier for Team Europe in 2024 and 2026.
The Solheim Cup has always been synonymous with PING – and of course the Solheim family – and this year, our involvement with the European team outfits emphasised our unwavering commitment to the women’s game and the development of a wonderful event that holds such a special place in our hearts.”
The commitment for 2024 and 2026 will see PING embark on its fourth consecutive time as Team Europe’s Official Apparel Supplier. The brand’s ongoing support of the Solheim Cup has played a key part in the event and PING will once again play an integral role in making sure the European team continue to look and feel their best on the course.
The 2024 Solheim Cup will be staged at Robert Trent Jones in Gainesville, Virginia from September 10-15, 2024 with PING and Rolex as Global Partners.
