The Ladies European Tour (LET) is approaching the halfway point of the 2023 season with 14 events completed thus far.
And throughout this latest eight-week stretch of tournaments, the 2023 Race to Costa del Sol – the season-long competition to crown the LET’s number one player – has been heating up.
After the return to Europe and as the LET enters a busy summer stretch, it is Spain’s Ana Peláez Triviño who sits at the top of the rankings with 1,338.20 points.
The 25-year-old has played 12 events this season and over the past two months, she solidified her position near the top of the standings after recording a runner-up result at the Helsingborg Open alongside two further top-10 finishes.
India’s Aditi Ashok now sits in second place in the standings with 1,260 points having had such a magnificent start to the 2023 LET season and having played in only four events including her win at the Magical Kenya Ladies Open.
Czechia’s Klara Davidson Spilkova rounds out the top three at this moment in time with a tally of 1,022.86 points from the 10 events she has played.
The two-time LET winner recorded a second-place result in the Individual event at the Aramco Team Series presented by PIF – Florida, as well as a fourth-place finish at the Helsingborg Open.
Sweden’s Linn Grant is in fourth place in the rankings having secured her fifth LET title at the Jabra Ladies Open at Evian Resort Club in May.
India’s Diksha Dagar has made a big move in the rankings up to fifth place thanks to her victory at the Tipsport Czech Ladies Open, as well as top-10 finishes in Belgium, Helsingborg and Germany.
Johanna Gustavsson of Sweden is still in search of her maiden LET title, however, she has also climbed up the standings in recent weeks due to four top-10 results in this latest stretch of events.
Joburg Ladies Open champion Lily May Humphreys sits in seventh place with 870.08 points, while Germany’s Chiara Noja is in eighth place.
The LET’s most recent winner Spain’s Carmen Alonso has moved into the top 10 thanks to her victory in Finland and is in ninth place with 781.28 points.
France’s Celine Herbin completes the top 10 with four top-10 results in the latest run, but hot on her heels are English duo Alice Hewson and Cara Gainer.
It’s still all to play for as the LET gets ready for its summer stretch with the top three on the Race to Costa del Sol receiving a bonus pool, while the top 10 have the opportunity to go to the Final Stage of LPGA Q-Series. The full standings can be found here.
