Multiple champion Lee-Anne Pace will be looking to get her 2015 season off to a flying start at the RACV Ladies Masters on the Gold Coast in February.
The 33-year-old is a confirmed starter at RACV Royal Pines Resort from the 12 to 15 February, which will mark the 26th staging of the event.
The Rolex Ranked World No. 31 had a fantastic month in October 2014, capturing the Cell C Women’s South African Open on the LET and then her first LPGA victory at the Blue Bay LPGA in China, finishing the year third and 38th on the LET and LPGA rankings respectively.
Reflecting on her ninth LET title, Pace said: “To win my national Open in front of family and friends was so special. I actually didn’t want to travel straight to China for the Blue Bay LPGA event, but it turned out to be another great week for me, to win my first LPGA title was surreal.”
Pace, whose best finish at the Ladies Masters was equal fifth back in 2011, will be looking to get 2015 off on the right foot.
“I love the Gold Coast, it reminds me so much of home in South Africa, so it is a great place to start 2015. I am looking forward to seeing the changes at the Royal Pines layout, it will be interesting playing nine new holes and nine of the old.”
Tournament Chairman Bob Tuohy said he was thrilled to welcome Lee-Anne back to the RACV Royal Pines Resort as she brings a lot of good golf to the RACV Ladies Masters and no doubt be in the mix on the final day.
Pace joins defending champion, American Cheyenne Woods in the field with more high profile players to be confirmed in coming weeks.
