NEXT UP FOR THE LET IS A TRIP TO THE NETHERLANDS

Hilversumsche Golf Club

After the fourth Major of the year, the Ladies European Tour (LET) remains in continental Europe with a trip to the Netherlands.

The Dutch Ladies Open is next up on the calendar with Hilversumsche Golf Club hosting the tournament for the second consecutive year.

It is the final stop after a busy couple of months with the Tour having a break while players compete at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.

A field of 132 players – including 11 invites – will be teeing it up in a 54-hole stroke play competition where there will be a cut to the top 60 professionals and ties at the end of the second round.

There is plenty of home interest this week with 11 Dutch players getting ready to compete on home soil.

They are led by five-time LET winner Anne Van Dam, she is also joined by seven other professionals and three amateurs who will be hoping to impress in front of a home crowd.

Thailand’s Trichat Cheenglab secured her maiden LET victory here in 2023 and although she won’t be competing this week, both players who finished as runners-up will be.

Denmark’s Nicole Broch Estrup and Wales’ Lydia Hall missed out by one stroke in last year’s edition but will be vying to go one better this time around.

Six winners from the 2024 LET season are hoping to add another title to their name with Shannon Tan, Manon De Roey, Perrine Delacour, Amy Taylor, Marta Martin and Alice Hewson all teeing it up.

Switzerland’s Albane Valenzuela – who was a rookie on the LET in 2023 – is also playing this week having finished in a tie for 22nd place at last week’s Amundi Evian Championship.

With the Olympic Games on the horizon, this is the final opportunity for players to hone their game ahead of the showdown in Paris and 13 of this week’s field will be competing at Le Golf National in August.

The Dutch Ladies Open will take place from Friday 19 July until Sunday 21 July at Hilversumsche Golf Club.
