NATIONAL BREAST CANCER RESEARCH INSTITUTE ANNOUNCED AS CHARITY PARTNER FOR 2024 KPMG WOMEN’S IRISH OPEN

National Breast Cancer Research Institute, has been announced as the Charity Partner for the 2024 KPMG Women’s Irish Open at Carton House, A Fairmont Managed Hotel in Maynooth, Co. Kildare for the second consecutive year.

The National Breast Cancer Research Institute raised over €550,000 from their Play in Pink in 2023.

Miriam Hand, National Play in Pink Co-Ordinator, said: “The partnership with the KPMG Women’s Irish Open is fantastic and it really puts our Play in Pink days in the spotlight. Having a Dress in Pink day on Friday of the event is amazing as well and seeing everyone arriving to the course in pink, including the players, is a huge statement of support for the charity.

“We wouldn’t be able to support the research team without partnerships like this and also the continued involvement of our dedicated volunteers and they will be out in force again in 2024 at Carton House with new Play in Pink initiatives that we hope everyone will enjoy.”

Eimear McManus, Managing Director of ForeFront Communications: “We are so delighted that National Breast Cancer Research Ireland and their Play in Pink campaign are on board once again for the 2024 KPMG Women’s Irish Open. Having worked with their team for two years now, I have seen the massive impact the NBCRI has had across Ireland.

“We’re looking forward to our Play In Pink Day on Friday the 30th of August where all players and spectators are invited to wear pink in support of Play in Pink and the incredible work they do.”
