(Stockholm, August 7 2004) Becky Morgan from Wales and Sweden’s Carin Koch share the lead on seven-under-par after the third round of the £325, 000 HP Open at Ullna GC in Stockholm.

“Overall my golf was a bit scrappy, but I only had one bogey,” said Morgan, whose best finish on the LET was second place after she lost in a playoff against Norway’s Suzann Pettersen at the French Open in 2001 and who will be looking for her first victory as a professional tomorrow.
“I feel confident going into tomorrow because I’ve put myself out in contention a few times in the States and I’ve lost in a playoff in Europe so I’ve been there before and I know I can handle the pressure.
“I know I can make birdies on quite a few holes around this course so even if I drop a few shots I know that I can get them back.”
Janice Moodie from Scotland, who was tied to lead with Morgan after the second round, had a level par 72 to remain on four under in fourth position.
Stephanie Arricau from France was in fifth after a four-under-par 68 to take her to three-under, putting her in contention for her third win of the season after she won both the French and Spanish Open.
The three players are in sixth position on two-under-par are Italy’s Silvia Cavalleri, Karine Icher form France and British Amateur Champion Louise Stahle from Barsëback GC in Sweden.
But the lowest round of the day belonged to Liselotte Neumann from Sweden, who had a five-under-par 67.
The legendary Swede sits alongside Australian Shani Waugh, who will defend her title next week at the Wales ‘Golf As It Should Be’ Ladies Open, Margherita Rigon from Italy and England’s Trish Johnson, who all share ninth position on one-under-par.
