Mission Hills Hainan, the luxury golf and leisure resort in Haikou, China, will once again host some of the world’s best golfers in the third edition of the World Ladies Championship scheduled to return to the tropical island of Hainan in Southern China from March 12th to 15th, 2015 with the prize money US$600,000.
The World Ladies Championship is co-sanctioned by Ladies European Tour and China LPGA Tour and features a unique three-in-one tournament format comprising an Individual Professional Competition played over 72-holes of individual stroke-play; a 72 hole Professional Team Competition in which the scores of the top two players from 18 countries represented will be combined to determine the winning team; and a 72-hole stroke-play Individual Amateur Competition.
With the World No. 1 Inbee Park from South Korea already confirmed to defend the individual title as well as the team competition with compatriot So Yeon Ryu against some of the best players on the Ladies European Tour, it promises to be every bit as exciting as last year’s tournament.
