MARCH 2026 LET PLAYER OF THE MONTH NOMINEES ANNOUNCED

March Player of the Month

Following the conclusion of the Australian swing on the Ladies European Tour (LET), it’s time to cast your vote for the March Player of the Month.

Three LET tournaments took place Down Under in March with the Australian Women’s Classic in New South Wales, the Women’s Australian Open in Adelaide, and the Australian WPGA Championship on the Gold Coast.

The Player of the Month award, which was introduced in 2025, sees LET commentators Richard Kaufman and Sophie Walker decided upon four nominees based on performances during the month.

March 2026 Player of the Month shortlist

Hannah Green (Australia)

LET Wins: 2

Home favourite Hannah Green has had a sensational month of golf winning on the LPGA in Singapore before returning to Australia to tee it up on the LET and securing back-to-back victories. The Australian lifted both trophies on home soil and has now moved up to number seven in the Rolex Women’s World Golf Rankings.

Expert opinion: “Hannah Green is on an unbelievable run. The Aussie star claimed her seventh LPGA win in Singapore, then she made history at the Women’s Australian Open becoming the first home winner since Karrie Webb. With husband and caddie Jarryd Felton by her side, she completed a stunning hat-trick at the Australian WPGA Championship. Three wins, one red hot streak. Hannah Green is flying.”

Casandra Alexander (South Africa)

LET Top-10s: 3

Casandra Alexander sits at the top of the LET Order of Merit after a successful March in Australia. The LET winner recorded three top-10 finishes Down Under including a runner-up finish at the Australian WPGA Championship.

Expert opinion: “Cass Alexander’s goal is to win the LET Order of Merit, and she is already in pole position after a strong Australian swing where she finished in sixth, fourth and second. March has been a consistent season-building month for the South African.”

Kelsey Bennett (Australia)

LET Wins: 1

It was a successful month for Kelsey Bennett, who secured her maiden LET victory on home soil at Magenta Shores Golf & Country Club. The Australian won by four strokes in front of friends and family in New South Wales and now sits third in the LET Order of Merit.

Expert opinion: “The way Kelsey Bennett ended 2025, the next step was always going to be a breakthrough win, and it came at the Australian Women’s Classic in her home state of New South Wales. In tough conditions with her friends and family around, Bennett won by four shots. A first LET victory that also sealed the Australian’s place in this year’s AIG Women’s Open.”

Meghan MacLaren (England)

LET Top-10s: 2

Meghan MacLaren

Meghan MacLaren rediscovered her form in Australia recording two top-5 finishes at the Australian Women’s Classic and Australian WPGA Championship. The English star has been open about her struggles in recent years, but feels she is now on an upward trajectory and her results Down Under reflect that.

Expert opinion: “The Mac is back. Meghan MacLaren that is. The signs had been there before she went to Australia – the country where she’s won her three LET titles. After 18 months in the wilderness, the future full of promise after a second and fourth-place finish in two of the four Aus events.”
