Roberta Liti finished strongly at Lalla Aicha Q-School to secure her playing rights on the Ladies European Tour (LET) in 2026.
The Italian produced rounds of 73 (+1) and 70 (-3) on the first two days at Royal Golf Marrakech and Al Maaden to sit in a share of 45th place at the halfway point.
However, Liti found her groove in the final two days firing rounds of 67-69 to soar up the leaderboard and finish in T9 on 11-under-par.
“I was off to a rocky start after the first round, I shot one-over and I didn’t really want to check the leaderboard, but I needed a bit of a kick in the butt and to see where everyone was standing and to turn it up a notch,” she said.
“I just tried to go out there, have fun, put together a good second round to get my confidence back and then just try to have fun and do my best. I tried to stay away from looking at the leaderboard and make any calculations.
“Whatever was going to happen this week was going to happen, and I was going to take it and move on and re-assess for next year. It was a lot of fun to shoot nine-under over the last two rounds and move up the leaderboard.”
The 30-year-old turned professional in 2018 and has been based in the United States playing on the Epson Tour and LPGA Tour.
Having experience LPGA Q-School, Liti used that experience to help her secure full LET playing rights in Morocco.
She explained: “I have been playing professionally for a few years, and you’ve been in this spot many times. You know that the slightest thing can change the mood, so you keep trying to do your thing. I almost doubled the 15th hole [in the last round] and I was really happy I got a good bogey in. I tried to reset and play the last three holes as well as I could.
“Experience helps at Q-School, the more you play and the more experience you have helps. I have been on the Epson Tour and LPGA, so I have played many Q-Schools in the year.”

This was the first time that Liti, who attended Arizona State University, had decided to come back to Europe and try to qualify for the LET after wanting a change.
She joins Virginia Elena Carta, Alessandra Fanali, Alessia Nobilio and Anna Zanusso in being an Italian on Tour and is looking forward to having a community on the LET.
She added: “After losing my LPGA card in 2024 and playing a season on Epson and not making the top 15 to get my card, I wanted to switch things up a little bit. It’s great to play in Europe, I know a lot more people. I can have a lot of fun playing new courses and doing something different. The purses are bigger and I’m looking forward to switching it up a bit. You don’t want to fall in the hole of doing the same again.
“I’m glad it worked out and I’m excited for next season. For me, it will be good to feel like I have a community [on the LET]. The first few years in the U.S. I knew a lot of people from college and as I’ve gotten older you feel like a fish out of water. It’s going to be nice out here, I know more people and have more of a community. I’m looking forward to that.”
