LET READY FOR FORTNIGHT IN SWEDEN

Allerum Golf Club

After a week in France, the Ladies European Tour (LET) heads to Sweden for back-to-back tournaments.

The city of Helsingborg hosts the next two events on the schedule with the Dormy Open Helsingborg followed by the Volvo Car Scandinavian Mixed.

Allerum Golf Club, which is located just outside of Helsingborg, will host the Dormy Open Helsingborg for the second year in a row between May 31 and June 2.

The tournament will see 132 players from 33 nations teeing it up in a 54-hole stroke play format with a cut to the top 60 professionals and ties at the 36-hole mark.

LET Order of Merit leader Bronte Law, who won the 2024 Lalla Meryem Cup, will be teeing it up this week.

As will Switzerland’s Chiara Tamburlini – the leader of Rookie of the Year – and the young star only sits 113.05 points behind Law and is third in the Order of Merit.

Two further winners from the 2024 season will be in attendance with Belgium’s Manon De Roey and Singapore’s Shannon Tan, who won the Investec SA Women’s Open and Magical Kenya Ladies Open respectively.

Sweden’s Lisa Pettersson will be defending her crown this week returning to the scene of her maiden LET victory after winning with a fantastic eagle finish in 2023.

Pettersson is not the only Swede teeing it up with 24 home stars hoping to come out on top at Allerum Golf Club.

There are six amateurs in the field including PING Junior Solheim Cup winners Meja Örtengren and Nora Sundberg of Sweden, and Helen Briem of Germany.
