LET players head to Korea for the Hite-Cup

(Blue Heron GC, Korea – 20 October 2005) — Three of the top players from the Ladies European Tour are teeing it up today in the US$400,000 Hite-Cup Ladies Open at Blue Heron Golf Club in Korea.

The event was won by the 18-year-old Korean Bo Bae Song, who narrowly beat Charlotta Sorenstam to the title.

Song is now a full member of the Ladies European Tour and has competed in seven tournaments on the LET this season, highlighting the tremendous opportunities available for golfers from all regions of the globe.

The talented teenager rounded out the year at 50th of the Money List, while Sorenstam finished 56th at the close of the season. Coakley, a rookie on the LET, finished 29th on the Money List, while Cecilia Ekelundh finished sixth after a wonderful year in which she won her second career title at the Algarve Ladies Open of Portugal, in June.
