The stars of the Ladies European Tour (LET) are refusing to let the rain dampen their spirits as they return to Coffs Harbour this week for the Australian Women’s Classic.
It has been a tumultuous start to the circuit’s Aussie swing after Cylone Alfred devastated the Queensland coast causing last week’s Australian WPGA Championship to be cancelled.
After a week of displacement and incredible camaraderie from the Australian golf community, the LET and WPGA Tour of Australasia are now set for week two in New South Wales and the seventh staging of the co-sanctioned Australian Women’s Classic.
As a result of heavy rainfall in the region the tournament will now be staged over 54-holes beginning on Friday. Coffs Harbour Golf Club is the setting with the greenskeepers working tirelessly to alleviate the effects of Alfred and have the course ready for play later this week.
The club last staged an LET event in 2018 and boasts a treelined par-70 with several water hazards.
Previous winners of the tournament include Meghan MacLaren (2022), Steph Kyriacou (2020), Marianne Skarpnord (2019) and Celine Boutier (2018).
No fewer than 132 players will tee up on Friday, a field comprised of 80 LET players, 30 WPGA Tour players, 20 Golf NSW invites, and two qualifiers. The full field can be found here.

LPGA winner Grace Kim headlines the €300,000 event as the highest ranked player in the Rolex Women’s World Golf Rankings (83rd).
The home favourite is joined by LET winners Cara Gainer, Manon De Roey, Trichat Cheenglab, Pauline Roussin-Bouchard, Diksha Dagar and Alice Hewson. Australia’s Kirsten Rudgeley is also teeing up in New South Wales looking for her maiden victory on the LET.
Play is scheduled to get underway on Friday March 14 at 7:30am local time. The winner of the 2025 Australian Women’s Classic will be crowned on Sunday March 16. The weekend rounds will be televised LIVE around the world and on the LET website with TV times to follow.
