LET HEADS TO SCOTLAND FOR NEXT STOP IN THE SCHEDULE

After a fantastic week at the Amundi Evian Championship, the Ladies European Tour (LET) heads to Scotland for the next stop on Tour.

The FREED GROUP Women’s Scottish Open Presented by Trust Golf, which is co-sanctioned with the LPGA Tour, is the next tournament on the schedule.

Dundonald Links is the host venue once again and there will be 145 players teeing it up with a cut to the top-65 and ties after 36 holes.

There are six players from the top 10 in the Rolex Women’s World Golf Rankings in attendance including the newest major champion Celine Boutier – who has jumped up to number four in the world.

She is joined by China’s Ruoning Yin, Americans Lilia Vu and Allisen Corpuz, Australia’s Minjee Lee and Thailand’s Atthaya Thitikul.

Defending champion Ayaka Furure is back the scene of her victory in 2022, where she fired a stunning 62 (-10) on the final day, to record her first LPGA Tour victory.

There are no fewer than seven Scottish players teeing it up on home soil including LPGA Tour winner Gemma Dryburgh – who heads into this week off the back of an eighth-place finish at Evian.

While local player Louise Duncan is also back at the event where she made her professional debut in 2022 and hoping to improve on last year’s result.

With more Race to Costa del Sol points at stake, all of the top 10 in the LET’s season-long race will be vying to add more points to their total.

There are 12 winners from the 2023 LET season who will all be teeing it up this week and hoping to add more silverware to their collection. They are Aditi Ashok, Maja Stark, Lily May Humphreys, Ashleigh Buhai, Pauline Roussin, Linn Grant, Patricia Isabel Schmidt, Lisa Pettersson, Kristyna Napoleaova, Diksha Dagar, Carmen Alonso and Boutier.
