The Ladies European Tour (LET) continues its swing of events in the United Kingdom with the PIF London Championship held at Centurion Club.
This week sees the third event of the PIF Global Series, which was launched earlier this year, and has seen the PIF Saudi Ladies International and Aramco Korea Championship take place.
It is the fifth year in a row that Centurion Club in Hertfordshire has hosted the tournament, which will see a field of 104 professionals representing 33 nationalities compete in two competitions.
There is a 36-hole Team competition alongside a 54-hole Individual stroke play, with a cut to the top 60 professionals and ties after 36 holes.
A prize fund of USD $2,000,000 is up for grabs with $500,000 for the Team competition and $1,500,000 for the Individual competition.
Last year, Ireland’s Leona Maguire secured her maiden LET title at this course sinking an eagle on the last to secure a one-stroke victory, and Team Nadaud defeated Team Hall in an intense playoff.
A star-studded field has assembled in London with eight European Solheim Cup stars in attendance including world number 10 Charley Hull.
Meanwhile, England’s Georgia Hall has a sensational record in the event having never finished outside of the top five in the previous four editions.
LET Order of Merit leader Mimi Rhodes, who finished T19 at last week’s AIG Women’s Open, is also one of the 18 English stars teeing it up this week.
The PIF London Championship will take place at Centurion Club from Friday 8 August until Sunday 10 August.
