After the completion of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, the Ladies European Tour (LET) is back on the road this week.
The ISPS HANDA Women’s Scottish is next up on the calendar with Dundonald Links hosting the tournament for the third consecutive year.
It is the eighth edition of the tournament since it became co-sanctioned by the LPGA, as well as the LET.
A field of 144 players – including four invites – will be teeing it up in a 72-hole stroke play competition where there will be a cut to the top 65 professionals and ties at the end of the second round.
Defending champion Celine Boutier of France is in town after she secured a two-stroke victory in 2023.
The Frenchwoman finished in a tie for 18th place at last week’s Olympic women’s competition which took place at Le Golf National.
There are three Scottish players ready to tee it up on home soil with Gemma Dryburgh joined by Kylie Henry and Laura Beveridge.
Last year’s runner-up Hyo-Joo Kim, who won earlier this season on the LET, will be looking to add another title to her collection.
With such a strong, a myriad of LET winners will be teeing it up this week and there will be 16 from the 2024 season alone.
After her success last week, 2024 Olympic gold medallist Lydia Ko is playing as is silver medallist Esther Henseleit.
The ISPS HANDA Women’s Scottish Open will take place from Thursday 15 August until Sunday 18 August at Dundonald Links.
