- Mini-documentary gives an in-depth profile on LET player.
The Ladies European Tour (LET) is proud to announce the creation of “From Scratch – Cara Gainer”, a brand new and original mini-documentary that will air on LET platforms.
The mini-documentary features England’s Cara Gainer and delves deeper into her journey to the elite level of the game while giving fans a glimpse into how she became the player she is today.
Watch it on the LET YouTube channel here:
It has only been three years since Cara turned professional, but her game has been improving year on year and she currently sits 12th in the 2023 Race to Costa del Sol, having recorded three top-10 finishes this year including a runner-up result at the Amundi German Masters.
The 27-year-old always had dreams of winning a Major championship from a young age, but that dream has not necessarily always been within the world of golf. Growing up, Cara played tennis and between the ages of 10 and 12 she wanted to be a professional tennis player.
The LET spoke to Cara at her home course Castle Royle and in the episode, we also hear from three key people in her journey – her father Adrian, former tennis coach Ed Isard and golf coach Rob Watts.
They provide an insight into how tennis shaped Cara as an athlete in her younger years and how she has transitioned to a career in professional golf.
