LALLA AICHA Q-SCHOOL: 10 PLAYERS TO WATCH AT FINAL QUALIFYING

Final Qualifying for Lalla Aicha Q-School takes place in Morocco this week as 155 players attempt to secure their full Ladies European Tour (LET) card for the 2026 season.

The Final Stage will feature 40 different nationalities as competitors take to Al Maaden Marrkakech and Royal Golf Marrakech in the five-day tournament between 16-20 December.

With Olympians, Curtis Cup winners and Solheim Cup hopefuls all in the field, here are 10 players to keep an eye on at Final Qualifying…

Ingrid Lindblad

We start with the highest ranked player in the field, Ingrid Lindblad, who is teeing up this week as she continues her quest to make Anna Nordqvist’s Solheim Cup team. The Swede is a one-time winner on the LPGA and previously spent 53 weeks as the World’s No 1 Amateur. Now sitting 53rd in the Rolex Women’s World Golf Rankings, Lindblad currently has no LET status – a requirement needed to make the European Solheim Cup team. While teeing up in Morocco will fill that void in her arsenal, the 25-year-old will still be looking to make a big statement in Marrakech as she eyes a spot at the 2026 Solheim Cup.

Aine Donegan

From one Louisiana State University (LSU) alumni to another, Ireland’s Aine Donegan is also one to watch this week in Morocco. The 23-year-old had a successful amateur career helping Catrionia Matthew’s GB&I side win the 2024 Curtis Cup – a side which included LET winners Lottie Woad and Mimi Rhodes plus 2025 rookies Sara Byrne and Lorna McClymont. Donegan was the standout player at Pre Qualifying achieving the best three-day score across all four courses on 13-under par. The Irishwoman will now be looking to continue her fine form and secure a full LET card for the 2026 campaign.

Ashley Lau

One of two Olympians in the field – the other being Norway’s Madelene Stavnar – Malaysia’s Ashley Lau has spent the last few years on the Epson Tour and is now seeking to take her talents to Europe. Lau advanced straight to Final Qualifying thanks to reaching the Final Stage of LPGA Q-Series last week. Having just missed out on a card there, the 25-year-old will now be keen to go one better in Morocco and become Malaysia’s newest LET member. Lau finished runner-up at the 2024 Epson Tour Championship and will be caddied by Jamie Tipper this week, the same coach who helped cousin Amelia Garvey make the successful jump from the LPGA’s feeder circuit to the LET in 2025.

Kan Bunnabodee

Like Donegan, Thailand’s Kan Bunnabodee was also victorious on her respective course at the Pre Qualifier, topping the PalmGolf Ourika competition with a score of 10-under par. Bunnabodee recently made the cut as an invite at the Aramco China Championship eventually finishing T31. Still only 23-years-old, Bunnabodee has spent the last two seasons competing across the CLPGA and THAILPGA where she has one win and five top-fives to her name. Thai players have a successful track record at LET Q-School, with Trichat Cheenglab, April Angurasuranne and Aunchisa Utama all graduating in recent years. Bunnabodee is well placed to join her trio of compatriots following an impressive Pre Qualifier.

Julia Lopez Ramirez

Another player with the Solheim Cup no doubt in her mind is Spain’s Julia Lopez Ramirez. Like Lindblad, Lopez Ramirez advanced straight to Final Qualifying thanks to her position in the Rolex Rankings sitting 107th ahead of this week. The Spaniard currently competes on the LPGA where she has one top-five to her name coming at this year’s ISPS HANDA Women’s Scottish Open. Still only 22-years-old, Lopez Ramirez won the 2023 European Ladies Amateur before reaching World No 1 in the Amateur Rankings back in 2024. The Spaniard will now be looking to make a statement at Q-School and secure her 2026 LET card.

Carolina Lopez Chacarra

Fresh off earning her LPGA card at Q-Series last week, Spain’s Carolina Lopez Chacarra will now be looking to do the same in Morocco at Lalla Aicha Q-School. Lopez Chacarra had a prolific amateur career winning the 2019 Junior Vagliano Trophy, 2022 Arnold Palmer Cup, 2023 European Ladies’ Team Championship and 2023 NCAA Division I Women’s Golf Championship. She also attended Wake Forest University alongside LET Rookie of the Year Mimi Rhodes and Irish star Lauren Walsh. Lopez Chacarra’s older brother, Eugenio, is already a winner on both LIV Golf and the DP World Tour.

Carla Tejedo Mulet

Another Spaniard on the list, Carla Tejedo Mulet also arrives fresh from LPGA Q-Series but with extra incentive having missed out on a card in Alabama. The recently turned 24-year-old competed on the Epson Tour in 2025 where she finished 14th in the season-long rankings with four top-10s. Tejedo Mulet is the older sister of PING Junior Solheim Cup winner Rocio and played collegiate golf at LSU alongside Lindblad and Donegan where she won the World University Golf Championship in 2022.

Anna Morgan

One of 11 Americans teeing up at the the Final Qualifier, Anna Morgan is one to watch having put on a strong performance in the Pre Qualifier staged at Noria Golf Club where she finished second. Morgan was a three-time Southern Conference Player of the Year during her time at Furman University within a period where she also qualified for the U.S. Women’s Open in 2022 and 2024 Augusta Women’s National Amateur (ANWA).

Caitlyn Macnab

Like, Morgan, South Africa’s Caitlyn Macnab also put on a great showing at the Pre Qualifier finishing second to Bunnabodee at PalmGolf Ourika. A winner already on the Sunshine Ladies Tour, Macnab has plenty of amateur pedigree having competed four times at the Augusta National Women’s Amateur (ANWA). The 23-year-old played collegiate golf for Ole Miss University, the same college as LET Order of Merit winner Chiara Tamburlini, where she became the program’s first player to win the SEC Individual Championship.

Caley McGinty

Last but not least, keep an eye on England’s Caley McGinty this week as the 25-year-old also looks to make a successful switch from across the pond. McGinty has spent the past year in the States competing on the LPGA after finishing T21 at Q-Series. Prior to that, the Englishwoman enjoyed a fruitful amateur career playing at 2021 Curtis Cup alongside Annabell Fuller and Lauren Walsh. McGinty also won the European Ladies’ Team Championship in both 2021 and 2022.

Final Qualifying for Lalla Aicha Q-School takes place between 16-20 December at Al Maaden Marrakech and Royal Golf Marrakech.
