JABRA LADIES OPEN NEXT UP ON THE LET

After an enthralling finish at the Amundi German Masters the Ladies European Tour (LET) is in France this week for the Jabra Ladies Open.

The tournament marks the 11th event of the season and the seventh edition of the event.

Staged at the picturesque Evian Resort Golf Club in Évian-les-Bains, France, 132 players from 34 nations will compete for a €300,000 purse over 54 holes from Thursday to Saturday.

Leading the field is last year’s Race to Costa del Sol number one Trichat Cheenglab. The Thai star is seeking her first win of 2024 after having a mixed start to the season.

Last year’s winner Linn Grant is not back in France to defend her crown, but past champions Tiia Koivisto (2022) and Annabel Dimmock will all be teeing up at Evian’s historic fairways. The latter is playing in just her second event of the season after returning from injury.

Elsewhere, France’s Pauline-Roussin Bouchard will be drawing in the home crowds as the two-time LET winner plays at her home club, Evian Resort. She is joined by last year’s runner-up, Celine Herbin, as one of 16 French hopefuls in the tournament.

The other runner-up from the 2023 edition, Anne van Dam, is also present this week as she looks to rekindle her best form and go one better at the stunning venue.

Three amateurs will also be competing as invitees at this year’s Jabra Ladies Open. This includes France’s Louise Uma Landgraf, the 15-year-old who became the youngest ever winner on a women’s professional tour on the LET Access Series (LETAS) last year.

As with previous years, the winner of the Jabra Ladies Open be rewarded with automatic qualification into The Amundi Evian Championship which takes place in early July.
