GREEN WINS PLAYER OF THE MONTH FOR MARCH 2026

Hannah Green

Australia’s Hannah Green has won the second Player of the Month award for 2026 after being voted the winner for March.

The award, which was introduced in 2025, highlights and showcases the brilliant performances from elite athletes seen at Ladies European Tour (LET) events across the globe.

Voted for by fans on the LET’s app and website, Green was shortlisted by commentators Richard Kaufman and Sophie Walker. The LPGA star was nominated alongside compatriot Kelsey Bennett, England’s Meghan MacLaren and South Africa’s Casandra Alexander.

The nominees were announced on Monday last week and voting concluded on Tuesday 7 April with Green securing her first Player of the Month accolade in a tight contest.

The 29-year-old had an exceptional March winning back-to-back home events at the Women’s Australian Open and Australian WPGA Championship. The victories followed a seventh LPGA title in Singapore a fortnight prior to complete an historic hat-trick.

“It’s been a crazy four weeks,” Green said. “I knew that my game was going to be good for the season early on, but I didn’t really imagine to have three wins this early in the season. It’s hard to back up a win – especially at home after the Aussie Open, it was such a big week!”

Green follows in the footsteps of Thailand’s April Angurasaranee who won the Player of the Month accolade for February.
