The first-time mother, Alison Lee will make her much-anticipated return to competition at the Aramco Houston Championship, the fourth event on the PIF Global Series on the Ladies European Tour. The tournament, staged at the Golfcrest Country Club from 5-7 September, marks Lee’s first tournament appearance since giving birth earlier this year.
Golf Saudi ambassador, Lee has been a standout performer in Golf Saudi-backed events in the past, with her only two wins on the LET coming in Aramco Team Series individual tournaments in both Sotogrande and Riyadh, in 2021 and 2023 respectively.
She is recognised as one of the most talented players on the tour, with her consistent performances being rewarded with Solheim Cup call ups in both 2015 and 2024, where Team USA reigned victorious on both occasions, proving her worth both individually and as part of team, a trait that will prove invaluable in the PIF Global Series.
The 30-year-olds return carries extra significance, as not only is she competing for the first time following the birth of her son in April, but she does so in front of her home crowd, with American fans eager to welcome her back to the field.

The Aramco Houston Championship is the fourth stop on the 2025 edition of the PIF Global Series, a trailblazing set of competitions that are redefining the landscape for women’s golf. Lee will tee off alongside a stellar cast, with the full line-up of players to be revealed soon, with plenty of exciting names set to be announced in the lead-up to the tournament.
