With the biggest purse on the Ladies European Tour outside the Majors, and a star-studded field from around the globe, the PIF Saudi Ladies International will open the curtain on the 2026 Ladies European Tour (LET) schedule in style at Riyadh Golf Club from Feb 11-14.
The Golf Saudi-backed season opener is the first of five marquee PIF Global Series events spread across the LET’s worldwide calendar. The event has attracted a host of Major champions, 11 Golf Saudi Ambassadors and Solheim Cup Stars, sees Singapore’s Shannon Tan, the 2025 LET Order of Merit winner, make her competitive return.
More than a golf tournament, the event will be a festival of the sport with Go Golf clinics introducing hundreds of beginners to the game as well as public talks involving leaders looking at the impact of golf on the Saudi economy and its importance to Vision 2030.
Building on the momentum of 2025, which saw Jeeno Thitikul claim a monumental victory, the 2026 edition features a world-class field drawn from the top tiers of the game. Golf Saudi ambassadors will once again headline the season opener:
- Patty Tavatanakit: Major champion and 2024 winner.
- Charley Hull: World No 5. and Four-time LET winner.
- Carlota Ciganda: World No.36 and Seven-time LET Winner and Solheim Cup Star
The field also boasts multiple Major champions, including 2023 Amundi Evian Championship winner Céline Boutier and 2017 Women’s PGA Championship winner Danielle Kang, reinforcing the tournament’s status as a premier global showcase.
The tournament also marks the return of Singapore’s Shannon Tan, who captured the overall LET Order of Merit title last season. Tan’s ascent to the top of the standings was punctuated by her consistent performances throughout the 2025 season, where she demonstrated the composure required to clinch the title.
Through strategic investments, Saudi Arabia is rapidly becoming a global hub for elite female athletes. By offering prize money parity with the PIF Saudi International, the tournament serves as a beacon of progress, setting a new standard to inspire a future generation of female golf players.
