Getting ready for Lalla Aicha Tour School 2014

Royal Dar Es Salam in Rabat, which will host the LET pre-qualifiers

The next edition of the Lalla Aicha Tour School is getting closer and will start in less than one week at the Royal Golf Dar Es Salam Golf Club. This will be the next stop to all players willing to win their right to play in the Ladies European Tour season in 2014.

The Robert Trent Jones-designed Royal Dar Es Salam in Rabat, which hosted the Moroccan Open four times and the Hassan II Golf Trophy from 1971-2010, will host these three Pre-Qualifiers from 28th November to the 8th December.

Once the entry period ended, the Ladies European Tour had received a total of 206 submissions from approximately 40 different nationalities and all the five continents, majority of them from England and Sweden. Regarding the nationalities, we have again players from exotic countries such as Latvia, Kazakhstan, Brazil, Nigeria, Namibia and Malaysia. Among the players, there are over 100 non-member including over 35 amateurs, which means plenty of new faces and future stars that the tour is looking forward to see in action.

Among the amateurs, we find recent Ping Junior Solheim Cup Team members Germany’s Karolin  Lampert, 30th on World Amateur Rankings, and Amber Ratcliffe, from England, 111th on World Amateur Rankings.

Entrants have already selected their three pre-qualifiers to compete, so the 168 players who will compete on each stage is as follows:

  • Pre-Qualifier A – Royal Golf Dar Es Salam Red Course, 28th November – 1st December 2013, with total of 48 players. Find complete list of players here
  • Pre-Qualifier B – Royal Golf Dar Es Salam Red Course, 5th – 8th December 2013, total of 69 players. Find complete list of players here
  •  Pre-Qualifier C – Royal Golf Dar Es Salam Blue Course, 5th – 8th December, total of 54 players. Find complete list of players here

A percentage of the field from each Pre-Qualifier will progress to the Final Qualifier, to be held over the Samanah and Al Maaden courses in Marrakech (14th- 18th December). The top 30 and ties will be offered category 8a membership, securing playing privileges to the majority of tournaments on the 2014 Ladies European Tour.
