South Africa’s Nicole Garcia finished at the top of the leaderboard after the final day of the pre-qualifying stage of the Lalla Aicha Tour School in Rabat, Morocco.
Garcia shot a final round of 70, to finish nine under par, 283, and 13 shots ahead of her nearest rival Swede Louise Friberg. Garcia’s final round included six birdies on the testing Royal Golf Dar Es Salam Red Course.
Sweden’s Louise Friberg (71) finished second at four over par, 296, after a strong final round. Netherland’s Amateur Anne Van Dam (74) finished two shots further back at six over par, 298, and Swede Johanna Gustavasson (73) took fourth place at ten over par, 302.
Forty two players, 33 professionals and 9 amateurs, progressed to the final stage of Lalla Aicha Tour School, which will take place from the 17 – 21 December at the Samanah and Al Maaden Golf Courses in Marrakech, Morocco.
