Elia Folch (ESP), Cloe Frankish (ENG), Sanna Nuutinen (FIN) and Emie Peronnin (FRA)
Following the conclusion of the 2018 LETAS and LET events, five players have earned promotion from the LET Access Series to the Ladies European Tour.
Elia Folch from Spain, England’s Cloe Frankish, Sanna Nuutinen of Finland, France’s Emie Peronnin and Fanny Cnops from Belgium will play on the Ladies European Tour in 2019.
Folch finished third on the LETAS Order of Merit following her victory in the Bossey Ladies Championship, in August.
Frankish finished fifth after a consistent season featuring three top-five finishes with a season-best tie for fourth in the Santander Golf Tour LETAS El Prat. Frankish said: “My season on the LET Access Series this year has been pretty consistent. I’ve had three tops fives and several top 10s, including my last event, where I came fourth, in Spain. This means such a lot to me to keep my card for next year through the Access Series. It’s been a pleasure to play.
“I have found the whole experience of playing the LET Access Series really good, everyone is very friendly and welcoming. It’s a great starting place for your journey as a professional, the staff and organisers do a great job with a full schedule for the players. I would especially like to thank Melissa (Eccles) for making me feel so welcome and comfortable on the tour.”
Nuutinen finished sixth on the Order of Merit following four top 10s including a tie for second in the Viaplay Ladies Finnish Open, Peronnin won the Anna Nordqvist Västerås Ladies Open and finished seventh on the Order of Merit, and Cnops (below, left), finished ninth following her maiden victory at the Lavaux Ladies Championship in June.
In addition to the five players on the LET Access Series Order of Merit earning their Ladies European Tour cards, a further 15 LETAS players also progressed to the final stage of Lalla Aicha Tour School, which takes place over the Amelkis Golf Course in Marrakech, Morocco from the 16 – 20 December.
