The first round of the Australian Women’s Classic – Presented by Pacific Bay Resort Studios has been suspended due to inclement weather.
Round one got underway at 7.15 am (local time) as scheduled at Bonville Golf Resort, but heavy rain started to fall and play was suspended at 8.19 am (local time).
After a delay of nearly six hours, due to heavy rainfall, it was decided that play has officially been suspended for the day with the first round to resume on Saturday morning at 7.30 am (local time).
The Australian Women’s Classic has officially been reduced from a 54-hole tournament to a 36-hole tournament.
