The 2024 Ladies European Tour (LET) season comes to a conclusion this week with the Andalucía Costa del Sol Open de España presented by Oysho.
A field of 75 players from 24 nations will be competing in a 72-hole stroke play competition with no cut at Real Club Guadalhorce Golf in Malaga.
The field is made up of the top 64 players from the 2024 LET Order of Merit and 11 invites which includes three Spanish amateurs.
India’s Aditi Ashok won her fifth LET title in Spain last year and will be hoping to successfully defend her crown this week.
There are 17 Spanish players teeing it up including Carlota Ciganda, who is aiming for a second Spanish Open title after winning in 2021.
She is joined by fellow LET winners Carmen Alonso, Maria Hernandez, Marta Martin, Nuria Iturrioz and Malaga native Ana Peláez Trivino.
Spanish amateurs Andrea Revuelta, Paula Martin Sampedro and Carla Bernat will all be competing for the Celia Barquin Award.
Ashok and Ciganda are not the only former champions in the field this week, there is also Caroline Hedwall (2022), Anne Van Dam (2018, 2019) and Lee-Anne Pace (2013).
Two LET winners are making their 250th LET appearance this week with England’s Liz Young and South Africa’s Pace both reaching the landmark.
Finally, there are no fewer than 29 LET winners teeing it up this week who have a combined total of 71 LET wins between them.
