The Ladies European Tour (LET) is staying in Sweden for another week with the Volvo Car Scandinavian Mixed next up.
It is the fourth edition of the tournament, which is co-sanctioned with the DP World Tour, and sees 78 men and 78 women compete for one trophy and one prize fund.
Vasatorps Golfklubb in Helsingborg is the host venue and will see a field of 156 players from 29 nations teeing it up.
The tournament is a 72-hole stroke play competition with a cut to the top-65 professionals and ties after the second round.
With the combining of the DP World Tour and LET, the field is made up of 72 DPWT players, 72 LET players and 12 invites.
England’s Dale Whitnell is the defending champion having triumphed at Ullna Golf Club at the 2023 edition.
2022 champion Linn Grant is also in attendance and the five-time LET winner hails from the Helsingborg area.
Four winners from the 2024 LET season will be vying to add another title with Singapore’s Shannon Tan (Magical Kenya Ladies Open), England’s Bronte Law (Lalla Meryem Cup), Switzerland’s Chiara Tamburlini (Joburg Ladies Open) and Belgium’s Manon De Roey (Investec SA Women’s Open) all in town.
With plenty of home support expected, there are 27 Swedes in the field this week including Solheim Cup stars Caroline Hedwall and Madelene Sagström.
There are 8 LET rookies in the field this week including Tamburlini, who leads the Rookie of the Year standings, and Ellinor Südow who is playing at her home club.
While of the 156 players in the field, there are 32 LET winners who have won a combined total of 72 LET wins.
