FIELD BREAKDOWN: 2024 DUTCH LADIES OPEN

Anne Van Dam

After a week in France, the Ladies European Tour (LET) heads to the Netherlands for this week’s Dutch Ladies Open.

It is the 25th edition of the tournament and the fourth since it returned to the LET calendar back in 2021.

The tournament will see a 54-hole stroke play competition take place from July 19-21 at Hilversumsche Golf Club.

In 2024, there are 403 members of the LET from 44 different nations and this week, there are 132 players from 35 nations teeing it up.

Thailand’s Trichat Cheenglab won the title in 2023 thanks to a birdie on the last hole and she went on to win the season-long Race to Costa del Sol and Rookie of the Year titles.

However, the Thai star unfortunately will not be defending her title as she is playing on the LPGA this week.

Denmark’s Nicole Broch Estrup and Wales’ Lydia Hall both finished in a share of second place in 2023 and the pair are returning this year hoping to go one better.

There are two former champions in the field with Scotland’s Kylie Henry (2014) and Florentyna Parker (2010) both teeing it up.

Anne Van Dam leads the Dutch charge as one of 11 players from the Netherlands who will be playing in the field.

Six winners from the 2024 season are in attendance with Singapore’s Shannon Tan (Magical Kenya Ladies Open), Belgium’s Manon De Roey (Investec SA Women’s Open), France’s Perrine Delacour, England’s Amy Taylor (Ladies Italian Open), Spain’s Marta Martin (Tipsport Czech Ladies Open) and England’s Alice Hewson (VP Bank Swiss Ladies Open).

Of the 132 professionals in the field, there are 35 LET winners who have a combined total of 70 LET victories between them.
