FIELD BREAKDOWN: 2024 ARAMCO TEAM SERIES – LONDON

After a week in Switzerland, the Ladies European Tour (LET) heads to London for the third Aramco Team Series presented by PIF event of the year.

It is the fourth edition of the tournament which started on the LET in 2021 with every edition having been held at Centurion Club.

The tournament is made up of two competitions – the Team competition is 36 holes with the best two scores on each hole counting towards the team score.

There is also the Individual competition is a 54-hole stroke play with a cut to the top-60 professionals and ties after 36 holes.

In 2024, there are 403 members of the LET from 44 different nations and this week, there are 108 players from 28 nations teeing it up.

England’s Georgia Hall captained her Team to victory at last year’s tournament and she is back to defend her team title at Centurion.

The two-time LET winner is one of 19 English players to be teeing it up among the others are champions on the LET in 2024 – Bronte Law, Alice Hewson and Amy Taylor.

They are also joined by world number eight Charley Hull, who finished as runner-up in the Individual competition behind Nelly Korda in 2023.

Nine winners from the 2024 LET season will be vying to add another title with Singapore’s Shannon Tan (Magical Kenya Ladies Open), Patty Tavatanakit (Aramco Saudi Ladies International), Law (Lalla Meryem Cup), Mariajo Uribe (Women’s NSW Open), Chiara Tamburlini (Joburg Ladies Open), Manon De Roey (Investec SA Women’s Open), Taylor (Ladies Italian Open), Marta Martin (Tipsport Czech Ladies Open) and Hewson (VP Vank Swiss Ladies Open).

Two former Individual champions in London are hoping to replicate their success with 2021 champion Marianne Skarpnord and 2022 champion Law.

Eight of the top 10 of the LET Order of Merit are playing this week, while there are 10 rookies teeing it up.

Of the 108 professionals in the field, there are 48 LET winners who have a combined total of 99 LET victories between them.
