After a week in Korea, the Ladies European Tour (LET) heads to the Netherlands this week, kicking off its European swing at the Dutch Ladies Open.
Now in its 26th edition – and it’s fifth since rejoining the LET calendar in 2021 – the tournament marks an exciting new chapter as it moves to Goyer Golf & Country Club in Eemnes for the first time, taking place from May 16-18.
This marks a significant milestone, as it’s not only the tournament’s debut at this venue but also the first time Goyer Golf & Country Club is hosting an international top-tier golf event. Previously, the tournament was held at Hilversumsche Golf Club in 2023 and 2024.
Goyer Golf & Country Club is known for its American-style design, featuring fairways, bunkers, and rugged roughs amidst clear water features and expansive sand areas, offering a unique challenge for players.
The tournament will see a 54-hole stroke play competition with a 132-player field, representing 35 nationalities teeing it up.
Czech’s Jana Melichova won the title in 2024, after firing an excellent round of 67 (-5) to come from behind and secure her second LET title.
The 26-year-old star began the day six shots behind leader Kim Metraux of Switzerland, but the deficit was reduced to just two strokes at the halfway mark.
Unfortunately, she won’t be defending her title this week due to taking time out following back surgery in October last year.
Switzerland’s Metraux finished in second place in 2024, and will be returning this week hoping to go one better.
There are three former champions in the field with Thailand’s Trichat Cheenglab (2023), Scotland’s Kylie Henry (2014), and England’s Florentyna Parker (2010) all teeing it up.
Anne van Dam leads the Dutch charge as one of eight players from the Netherlands who will be playing in the field.
Two winners from the 2025 season are in attendance with England’s Mimi Rhodes (Ford Women’s NSW Open & Joburg Ladies Open), and Perrine Delacour (Investec SA Women’s Open).
Rhodes, who currently leads the Order of Merit standings on 1,046.88 points, is amongst the 26 rookies in the field this week.
Of the 132 players in the field, there are 33 LET winners who have a combined total of 62 LET victories between them.
The full entry list can be found here.
New this year is LET’s Beat The Pro on Hole 19: on a specially constructed par 3 of 90 metres, complete with a grandstand for 250 spectators. After rounds one & two, players who finish their round on hole 18 will walk over to the first tee of the practice area after recording. Players will then compete against an amateur (approx. 90 metres): 1 Amateur vs. 3 Pros. On Sunday, matches 1 through 13 will participate in this challenge.
