A group of four female Etihad Airways pilots played against four Ladies European Tour professional golfers in a challenge match with a twist at Saadiyat Beach Golf Club on Sunday ahead of the Fatima Bint Mubarak Ladies Open.
Three UAE pilots and one international pilot, who were all complete beginners at golf, took part in a putting challenge against the blindfolded professionals. They then faced a chip and putt challenge against the professionals, who played with their non-dominant hand.
There was also a long drive challenge where the player to hit furthest won a point, with the professionals swinging from their knees!
After the three rounds, the pilots and professionals tied with six points each.
