A documentary featuring Annabel Dimmock was released today showing her road to recovery from a serious injury.
The LET winner is an adidasGolf ambassador with the documentary following her recovery from a serious injury with the goal of qualifying for the AIG Women’s Open at St Andrews.
Speaking about the documentary, Dimmock said: “I’m really glad my journey got documented and people can actually get an insight on how it goes, people probably thought I was sat at home with my popcorn watching Netflix.
“It’s not as easy as that. You’ve got a lot of financial stress. I could never enjoy myself no matter where I was because I didn’t feel like my life was where it should have been. I was really glad that people get to see the struggle because a lot of athletes do go through it.
“Being a professional sportsperson lots of injuries come through it unfortunately, I’m glad people got to see that. I’m glad the filming is over because I can concentrate on my golf. I’m glad I did it but I’m also glad it’s over.”
