All the champions from last year’s Aramco Team Series – London are set to defend their title and try to notch another victory.

The Aramco Team Series – London will see an individual 54-hole stroke play tournament take place alongside a 36-hole Team event with each tournament having a prize pool of USD $500,000.

There are 108 players in the field this week including Norway’s Marianne Skarpnord, who claimed the individual crown in 2021 beating Thailand’s Atthaya Thitikul in a playoff, returning to Centurion Club.

Team Cowan was victorious in the inaugural edition of the event, captained by Olivia Cowan with Sarina Schmidt and Diksha Dagar gelling to create the winning team and all three are back in 2022.

English legend Trish Johnson will tee it up this week and Solheim Cup star Nanna Koerstz Madsen will be making her debut in the event.

Madsen is joined by former Order of Merit winners Georgia Hall, who won the 2022 Aramco Saud Ladies International, and Charley Hull, who claimed the individual crown at the Aramco Team Series – New York.

Belgium’s Manon De Roey and Slovenia’s Pia Babnik, who won the individual crowns in Bangkok and Jeddah respectively, will also tee it up.

Winners from this season looking to add another accolade in London are Finland’s Tiia Koivisto (Jabra Ladies Open), Ana Peláez (Madrid Ladies Open) and Linn Grant (Joburg Ladies Open, Mithra Belgian Ladies Open, Volvo Car Scandinavian Mixed).

Grant comes into this week in impressive form having just stormed to a nine-shot victory at Halmstad Golf Club and in the process won her third LET title of the year and became the first female winner on the DP World Tour.

Seven of the top 10 in the 2022 Race to Costa del Sol will be vying to add more points, while LET winners from 2021 include England’s Bronte Law and French duo Lucie Malchirand and Pauline Roussin Bouchard.
