Camilla Lennarth Promotes #BeActive Campaign

We caught up with European Week of Sport LET Ambassador Camilla Lennarth at the Ricoh Women’s British Open to hear her views on why having a healthy lifestyle is so important and the reasons for her support of the #BeActive campaign.

The Ladies European Tour has committed to raising awareness of the campaign, which is an initiative of the European Commission to promote sport and physical activity across Europe.

Lennarth, 28, from Sweden, has always been an active athlete and participated in several sports from a young age, encouraged by her parents.

“Playing sport gives me confidence and energy. Having a lot of energy can turn a really bad day into a good day. I love the adrenaline it gives me and adrenaline gives me power and makes me strong in all situations. Also, for young people and teenagers, it’s really good because it’s social, you make friends forever and it gives you confidence. ”

Watch Camilla and the other LET athletes compete in the Ricoh Women’s British Open at Woburn Golf Club in England from 6.30am on Thursday 28th July. Tee times are available to view here.
