BOUVET TURNS PROFESSIONAL AFETR SECURING LET CARD

Vanessa Bouvet has joined the professional ranks after clinching her Ladies European Tour (LET) card for 2025.

The Frenchwoman played eight tournaments on the LET Access Series as an amateur in 2024 with a best finish of T9 at the Terre Blanche Ladies Open.

Bouvet then headed to Lalla Aicha Q-School for two weeks in Morocco, where she got off to a strong start finishing in a share of first place at the Pre-Qualifier held at Golf Club Rotana.

The University of Nebraska graduate kept her amateur status throughout Q-School playing the Final Qualifier at Al Maaden Golf and Royal Golf Marrakech.

After rounds of 70-69-76-70-68, Bouvet ended the Final Stage of Q-School in a share of 19th place and secured Category 12 status for 2025.

At the start of 2025, the 26-year-old relinquished her amateur status and turned professional ahead of the LET season starting in February.

“It was really exciting to have earned my card! It is one of the biggest achievements in my golf career, I’m so happy that I was able to do it,” said Bouvet.

“I was planning to turn professional after Q-School no matter what the outcome was. It makes it even more special that I am able to start my professional career on the LET.

“I’m most excited to travel and play different courses around the world. I’m excited to perform and hopefully, win a few events.”
