The Sorenstam machine marched onwards and upwards as the world number one racked up her 11th Worldwide win of 2002, racing to the lowest under par score on this season’s LPGA Tour when she won the Samsung World Championship on Sunday.
The 31-year-old Swede, whose birthday is on Wednesday, treated herself to an early present with a final round seven under par 65 to defeat American Christie Kerr during the final round.
