With the Ryder Cup now done and dusted attention turns to next year’s Solheim Cup where Team Europe will attempt to regain the famous trophy on home soil.
Just four events remain on the 2025 Ladies European Tour (LET) schedule, so let’s have a closer look at the European Team standings ahead of next year’s competition.
The 2026 Solheim Cup takes place between 11-13 September at Bernardus Golf in the Netherlands – a first for the competition. Swedish legend Anna Nordqvist will lead the European side with Mel Reid, Caroline Hedwall and Anne van Dam now confirmed as her three vice-captains.
Team Europe will be comprised of the top two players from the LET Solheim Cup standings, six players from the Rolex Women’s World Golf Rankings and four captain’s picks. The qualification period began at the 2024 La Sella Open and will end on a date to be specified following the release of the 2026 LET schedule. Crucially, LET Solheim Cup points will count double in 2026.
As it stands, Order of Merit winner Chiara Tamburlini from Switzerland leads the LET Solheim Cup standings on 119.35 points from 23 events. Since qualification started, Tamburlini has recorded two wins at the 2024 Lacoste Ladies Open de France and 2024 Wistron Ladies Open. The 25-year-old has two-runner up finishes to her name in 2025 helping to bolster her tally.

Also occupying an automatic spot is Germany’s Helen Briem. After finishing T2 at last week’s Lacoste Ladies Open de France, the 20-year-old has moved to second position in the LET Solheim Cup standings on 92.00 points from 18 tournaments. The big-hitting German won the first event of the qualification period at last year’s La Sella Open.
Just behind Briem sits England’s Charley Hull on 89.68 points. The popular figure won last year’s Aramco Team Series – Riyadh event and has followed that up with runner-up finishes at the AIG Women’s Open and Aramco Houston Championship on the LET. Hull currently sits at a career-best 5th in the Rolex Women’s World Golf Rankings so as it stands would qualify as one of six players through this criterion.
In fourth spot is Belgium’s Manon De Roey. The Olympian also has one victory to her name which came earlier this year at the Australian Women’s Classic. Although mostly now competing on the LPGA Tour, De Roey has 70.63 points from 14 LET starts since last September.
Just behind De Roey is England’s Mimi Rhodes, current leader of the 2025 LET Order of Merit. Rhodes has hit the ground running during her rookie season on Tour winning three times at the Ford Women’s NSW Open, Joburg Ladies Open and Dutch Ladies Open. The 23-year-old currently has 68.19 points from 16 events.
Another 2025 success story, Czech Republic’s Sara Kouskova, is sixth in the LET Solheim Cup standings with 64.90 points from 25 events. Kouskova picked up back-to-back victories at the Jabra Ladies Open and Tenerife Women’s Open to soar up the rankings.

French duo Perrine Delacour and Nastasia Nadaud are seventh and eighth respectively in the standings. England’s Cara Gainer and Sweden’s Maja Stark round out the top-10.
Over in the Rolex Women’s World Golf Rankings, England’s Lottie Woad has risen to World No 11 as of September 29th and would join compatriot Hull in the European team for the 2026 Solheim Cup. The next four highest ranked European players as it stands are Stark, Celine Boutier of France, Esther Henseleit of Germany and Carlota Ciganda of Spain.
