The Solheim Cup is always one of the most exciting, patriotic and dramatic weeks on the golf calendar. This year’s 2024 Solheim Cup will not only bring the world’s best golfers to Northern Virginia for three days of intense competition but will also introduce an elevated fan experience with high-energy activations all around the grounds of Robert Trent Jones Golf Club.

Located just inside the main entrance, the 2024 Solheim Cup Fan Zone presented by Virginia is for Lovers is sure to offer something for everyone. Join us to participate in family-friendly activities, including the TUMI Trophy Photo Opp, the Skyscanner Photo Booth, the KLM Impossible Putt, the Rhone Chipping Challenge, the LPGA*USGA Girls Golf Putt-Putt Course, the Didlake Long Putt Challenge, the Hilton Lesson Zone, the Virginia is for Lovers Golf Simulator and the PING Hitting Bays.

Located directly behind the clubhouse, the Great Lawn will feature picnic-table seating, live music throughout the week from local bands, and a feed of live play from around the course. Enjoy a snack from The Crab Shack, visit Sweet Treats, grab a cold beverage from Tito’s Stillhouse and enjoy local Virginia signature food items from the concessions stands.  

Located adjacent to the Great Lawn, experience the First Tee alongside 2,000 other fans cheering for their favorite players. Snag some awesome giveaways, enjoy music from our exclusive First Tee DJ, and be up close to the action to cheer on the U.S. Team. Seating is first come, first served, and no additional ticket purchase for this space is required.

The Hilton Lesson Zone offers fans the unique opportunity to receive a free 10-minute lesson from an LPGA Teaching Professional. The Lesson Zone will be open Tuesday to Thursday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and Friday to Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the driving range.

On Wednesday, Sept. 11, at 1 p.m., first responders, representing Fire, Police and Emergency Medical Services, will be paired with celebrities in the First Responders Celebrity 9-Hole Challenge presented by SERVPRO. Fans with Wednesday tickets will be able to see every shot and celebrate those who make extraordinary commitments and risk their lives every day. Confirmed celebrities include Washington Nationals star Ryan Zimmerman, celebrity chef and humanitarian Jose Andres and former Washington Commanders coach Ron Rivera, with more high-profile names to come. 

When to come…

The 2024 Solheim Cup Opening Ceremony will be held on Thursday, Sept. 12, at 4:30 p.m. on The Great Lawn. Following the ceremony, fans can enjoy a live performance by country-music star Jordan Davis. No additional ticket purchase is required to attend the Opening Ceremony or concert. 

The 2024 Solheim Cup Closing Ceremony will be held Sunday, Sept. 15, approximately 30 minutes following the conclusion of play on the Great Lawn. Celebrate with friends and family as the winning team hoists the trophy on stage!

Who to watch…

The U.S. Team is led by Rolex Women’s World Rankings No. 1 Nelly Korda, who has six victories on the 2024 LPGA Tour season. She qualified via the U.S. Solheim Cup Team points standings and will be joined by Lilia Vu, Lauren Coughlin, Ally Ewing, Allisen Corpuz, Megan Khang and Andrea Lee. Rose Zhang and Alison Lee will represent the U.S. as the two highest Americans in the Rolex Rankings not among those who qualified via points, while Captain Stacy Lewis selected Jennifer Kupcho, Sarah Schmelzel and Lexi Thompson as her captain’s picks.

Charley Hull topped the European Team Solheim Cup Points list, with the second spot from the standings clinched by Esther Henseleit. Celine Boutier, Maja Stark, Linn Grant, Leona Maguire, Carlota Ciganda and Madelene Sagstrom qualified via the Rolex Rankings. Captain Suzann Pettersen rounded out the team with captain’s picks Georgia Hall, Anna Nordqvist, Emily Kristine Pedersen and Albane Valenzuela.

  • General Admission – Daily and weekly General Admission tickets include access to tournament grounds, various open seating options across the course and food and beverage options available for purchase at concessions. 
  • Solheim Pavilion – Spectators will have week-long access to tournament grounds and the Solheim Pavilion, a climate controlled, unreserved seating area offering elevated views of the third, fourth, 13th and 14th holes. This also includes upgraded food and beverage options for purchase.
  • Captains Club – In addition to access to tournament grounds and all-inclusive food and beverages, Captains Club tickets offer a climate controlled, unreserved seating area with elevated views of the fifth and seventh holes.
  • Junior General Admission – Juniors (17 and under) will receive admission for $1, which will be donated to LPGA*USGA Girls Golf, with a ticketed adult during Practice Rounds (Tuesday-Thursday). For Competition Days (Friday-Sunday), Junior tickets are available at a significant discount. 
  • Military and First Responders General Admission – To honor those who serve our country in the United States Armed Forces, current and former members of the U.S. Military (in partnership with Amazon Web Services) and first responders (courtesy of SERVPRO) can receive two complimentary grounds tickets during Practice Days and 50% off two grounds tickets during Competition Days, regardless of sell-out.
