Matthew Masterclass for Female UAE National Team

The 2019 European Solheim Cup Captain Catriona Matthew gave up her time during the build-up to the Fatima Bint Mubarak Ladies Open to give a clinic to female members of the United Arab Emirates National Golf Team.

The Emirates Golf Federation is investing in UAE nationals and encouraging women and girls to take up the game in their home country.

As an EGF Team member, the players are given free access to any golf course in the UAE and taken on international training camps. As further inspiration, several of the top female golfers were invited to play in the LET Pro-Am at Saadiyat Beach Club ahead of the inspirational family-themed event, taking place on November 1-4.
