England’s Georgia Hall will make her debut at the KPMG Women’s PGA Championship later this month. She has accepted a special exemption to compete in the second women’s Major Championship of 2017, hosted June 29 – July 2, at Olympia Fields (Illinois) Country Club.
Hall, 21, a full-time member on the Ladies European Tour, is not a stranger to American golf courses, having competed in the 2015 U.S. Women’s Open, 2013 ANA Inspiration, 2013 PING Junior Solheim Cup and 2014 Curtis Cup on U.S. soil. She sits fourth on the Ladies European Tour’s Order of Merit and atop the European Solheim Cup points list, after two top-five finishes in the early part of the year at the World Ladies Championship and Lalla Meryem Cup.
Hall joins an elite field for the KPMG Women’s PGA Championship that includes defending champion Brooke Henderson, World No. 1 Ariya Jutanugarn, Lydia Ko and Americans Lexi Thompson, Cristie Kerr and Stacy Lewis. Hall is currently ranked No. 106 in the Rolex Women’s World Golf Rankings.

The KPMG Women’s PGA Championship — a collaboration between the PGA of America, KPMG and the LPGA Tour — continues the rich tradition of the LPGA Championship. Broadcast in partnership with NBC and Golf Channel, the Championship offers a purse among the highest in women’s golf. The event combines an annual major golf championship with the KPMG Women’s Leadership Summit and the KPMG Future Leaders Program – all focused on the development, advancement, and empowerment of women on and off the golf course.
Golf Channel will televise live the first two rounds of the KPMG Women’s PGA Championship, Thursday, June 29 and Friday, June 30, from 12:30-3:30 p.m. ET. NBC coverage of the final two rounds is Saturday, July 1, from 3-6 p.m. ET, and Sunday, July 2, from 3-6 p.m. ET.
