15th Club to deliver performance analytics to Team Europe

15th Club will provide Team Europe with detailed performance data and analytics to inform strategic decision-making.

15th Club has been appointed by the Ladies European Tour to work with Team Europe ahead of the 2017 Solheim Cup. The most prestigious team event in women’s golf, this year’s edition of the tournament will be held at Des Moines Golf & Country Club in Iowa, USA from 18-20th August.

15th Club will work with European Solheim Cup captain Annika Sorenstam and her team to provide detailed performance information and analysis through a secure software that will enable them to track the performance of all eligible European players and inform key decisions on wildcard picks, pairings and overall strategy.

“I have always been a big believer in tracking stats to help improve performance and 15th Club does just that,” Annika said. “Numbers don’t lie and it will be great to have data on each European player right at my fingertips.”

“We are delighted to be working with Team Europe ahead of and during the Solheim Cup this summer,” said Duncan Carey, Head of Golf at 15th Club. “Our analytical approach philosophically aligns with Annika’s objectives, and we’re going to do everything we can to help Team Europe bring back the trophy in August.”

15th Club was founded in 2015 with the aim of helping golfers win by applying intelligence to data. Delivering analytical software and consultancy services, 15th Club works with players across all the major pro tours and has previously worked with Team Europe in the Ryder Cup.
